    required to build her business.   A dreamer dreams. A visionary dreams then takes
    specific strategic actions that will incrementally lead to realization of the vision. A
    visionary won't let anyone or any challenge stop them because the know they
    are right! A business builder knows they are in a marathon vs. a sprint and is
    realistic with their stretch goals and what's required to achieve the goal.

Update on internet tools for business owners. I recently a great tip from publicist imalwagner www.imalwagner.com . Imal is the internet and offline marketing expert responsible for Alex Tew's success... in case you didn't know by now! :) Anyway, Imal's newest client, Seth Godin has developed a great internet tool for business owners and individualls. I only wish building my website would have been as easy as building the lense. I had traffic going to my website from Squidoo the first week. My lense ranking went to number 83 of about 15K by the 4th week. It's all very fascinating for business owners. It's free other than the time you invest in setup and updating. I've sold some ebooks and no doubt those customers will convert to long term customers who buy my other products and services. Anybody can build their lense in less than a day with no web experience whatsoever! If you're so inclined you can rate my site while you're there. The milliondollarhomepage advertising model has been a truly engaging internet and offline marketing experience. Our traffic has ranged from 20K to 1K and has been wildly all over the map based on Alex Tew's media campaign (surely y'all know a media campaign along with internet marketing is the combination that made Alex his million in about 4 months!) :) I've been tracking the results of my own page and the effect to my 7figurebusiness. Recognizing most traffic coming to this page will not be business owners I didn't expect much... but ya never know. You always have to try new things! I've tried to figure out what Alex is doing and it seems he's trying to figure that out too. So, we're starting our marketing campaign tomorrow.

Checking in! January has been a whirlwind bringing in so much business! Just got back from my Business Building Bootcamp teaching entrepreneur's how to build their successful businesses.

Life is so good!

The most powerful thing that happened was our ability to change lives, especially the future of an 18 year old at risk teen. His father was planning to attend our bootcamp and wanted to cancel so he could figure out what to do with his 18 year old son who had recently dropped out of school and was becoming withdrawn. One of my team members, Linda, took the call. She encouraged him to bring his son to our ranch so he could be around exciting motivated people in a relaxed resort Texas Hill Country environment. (Aren't we so blessed?) He decided to bring his son. At the end of the bootcamp he said he got way more than he ever expected for his business but mostly, we had totally converted his son. His son wrote us a beautiful letter including the words "I know now that the quality of my life is determined by the quality of people I allow to be on my team". That was a total transformation and will inspire me for years to come. Only my closest students and friends know I myself was an "at risk" teen. Well, now you know too! :) It is very empowering to mentor people the same way my mentors did for me!

Sharing our MillionDollarWomensHomepage Story

Had a great time sharing the milliondollarwomenshomepage idea with them as an example of creativity, taking action and duplicating. Duplicating successful actions has always been a proven strategy for successful people! Alex Tew clearly isn't and never has been concerned with duplication of his idea. Most successful people don't concern themselves with such small matters because they don't come from a position of lack. It's been very interesting to watch this idea and all the wild and varying opinions unfold. Traffic has gone all over the map and we've been reviewed, praised, criticized, applauded and you name it for "copying" the original idea. It goes to show you that everyone has an opinion. When they agree with you they are brilliant. When they don't they're not! :)

Thought you may be interested in a few of the opinions about our milliondollarwomenshomepage Including one from a guy who says I'm Alex Tew's female counterpart among a few other things. Hey, I've been called worse than a millionaire genius creative kid's counterpart!

Another guy wisely points out that originality is not always as profitable as investing in an idea that's already working. What I can ad is this.... My original investment was paid back within 30 days. I'm making money from this "let's just see what happens" idea faster than I have or others have on other things we've done. I'm having lots of fun learning about the internet! I like calling myself an "internet marketer" amongst my friends who are the best internet marketers in the country. How can you beat all that? I personally think this is not a fad at all. I know of several strategies that are and will be applied that will be around for awhile!

Opinion 1:

Teresa Luquette - Alex Tew's female counterpart, must take first prize for the most blatant rip-off of the milliondollarhomepage idea ! Her site: http://www.milliondollarwomenshomepage.com is almost an exact copy of Alex's www.milliondollarhomepage.com - ( is she real or has Mr Tew taken up transvestism !)

Either way, she's managed to sell around 108,000 pixels at a dollar a time. (And, some people make stuff up!) :)

But Mr Tew has gone one better - he's sold all but 1000 pixels of his million pixel homepage - and now he's auctioning the last 1000 on - yes, you've guessed it Ebay !
the auction has five days to go and the bidding for the 1000 pixel strip - which you could have bought last week for $1000, has already reached $145,000 dollars - and he doesn't just want any old bid from any dick or harry - oh no - you have to be approved first.

My guess is that by Monday next week that 1000 pixels will go for 1 million dollars plus ! Quite unbelievable really! (Are you hallucinating?)

Opinion 2:

It doesn�t end there, however. Alex�s embarrassingly simple idea has been copied more than a few times by other folks hoping to milk in MDHP cash cow for all it�s worth. The latest copycat is [3] Teresa Luquette, who created [4] The Million Dollar Womens Homepage this past November. Her earnings from the copycat effort so far: $133,300. Not bad for a couple of months and a knockoff idea.

All copycat scorn aside, the moral of the story is this. Originality is a beautiful, but often often over-rated ideal. The smart money invests in an idea that�s been proven to work.

This has prompted me to invest a further $600 in Teresa Luquette's http://www.milliondollarwomenshomepage.com - a direct rip-off of Alex's site - but what the hell it seems to be getting a fair bit of traffic and now that his sitee's full up I'm expecting mushrooming interest in Teresa's site !(via [5] Denise Wakeman)

Well, here are the pictures! We had such a great time boot scooting and business building. I hope y'all all get to attend one of my bootcamps. It's been an amazing year! My team and I are working on our business plan for next year when we return from the holiday. We usually get this done in December but this year we decided to take some time off since we know next year will be extremely busy! We're waiting on a couple of commitments to teach students from some large entrepreneur success companies and colleges. One has over 16,000 students!

I hope y'all take a some time to pause for your business. January is the perfect time to pause and reflect on what happened last year and what you expect to happen for 2006. I call the comma in 7FigureBusinesses the pause! The comma is the difference between the six figure and seven figure(plus) businesses. It's the pause that adds the zeros! I hope y'all take some time to plan next year out so you can get success bigger, better and faster than you did last year!

Planning is easy. You only have to set aside the time to get it done. My suggestion for all businesses is plan the 3M's (Marketing, Management and Money) once you've done an evaluation, set goals then review what's going on in your industry. The last step is implementation. That's just laying out what will be done, when and by whom!

We learned how to grow businesses in every stage of business. We learned how and when to get money for our businesses, how to market, and how to manage. I call it the 3M's to Millions! When you get the 3M's down you'll get down to business and make some money. I say the best way to get over your money issues is to get some! We got work done. I was amazed at how hard everyone really wants to work when they just know what to do! So many people told me that seminar attendees won't work. Not true! We got a lot done vs. getting a lot of information that is just information when you return to your office on Monday.

We also learned some fun stuff like how to "properly" say y'all! News flash..... there ain't no "ew, ou, or oooo" in y'all! We all had lots of fun experiencing the Texas culture at the ranch. The California folks were amazed to see the "big animals" they said (deer) roaming on the ranch! We did some boot scootin and business building. I'm going to have to pack a suitcase full of my fabulous glitzy Texas size belts for the next event. Everyone wanted my belts :) I gotta say I love the Texas glitz. You can get away with it here! Y'all love it! :)

I loved having my event at the resort private ranch. We have the run of the ranch and its perfect!

I've gotta go get ready for my mentoring call Wednesday night.

Amazing! Our ad just went up yesterday and we've had three orders today! We've had over 4,450 hits on our page in less than 24 hours! If you've ordered your pixel ads today, they'll be up within the next 24 hours. All I can say is the internet is Amazing. Our first order was from a cosmetics company in the UK. Wow!
